On December 15th, 2018, Fat Race Foundation Joint Stock Company and the investor of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Company conducted a preliminary review and hand over 3.4 dedicated ports of the key project – Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Production Complex.
Port no.3 and no.4 is a part of deep water port – content has an important meaning in the overall project of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Factory Complex. At the hand-over ceremony, the investor recognized and praised the efforts of Fat Racing officers and employees in the timely implementation of many completed items, including handover of port 3 and 4 according to on time. Especially, the construction of the bored piles on the sea of Duafat is highly appreciated for its investment as well as outstanding efforts in the face of many difficulties and challenges.

Faced with that fiery water situation, Duafat has bravely invested a lot more imported materials and equipment, 7,100 tons barges, 250 tons cranes, adding more machines far from the plan. Initially, the outstanding feature was the jack-up system of drilling ships and self-lifting decks imported Jack-up to double the number to speed up the construction of 3, 4 berths in time to hand over. Jack-up is a self-lifting and lowering operation platform on the sea that can be constructed in inclement weather conditions (high waves, high winds) with dimensions of 36 × 18.5 × 2.9 × 1.55 with a lifting capacity of 400 tons, 984 CV. The floor has four hydraulic anti-legs with a total length of 35 m.
Currently in Vietnam, Duafat is the first motorized construction unit that owns the Jack-up raised floor technology in the processing field. Works foundations at sea.
